Happy Wednesday!
“When the basis for your actions is inner alignment with the present moment, your actions become empowered by the intelligence of life itself.”
— Eckhart Tolle
Sometimes, it’s an overbooked schedule, an outing you regret committing to, or saying “yes” to a request that everything in your being rejects. However it looks for you, at some point, we’ve all felt completely out of control with what we do with our time and energy.
This overextension of ourselves can quickly start to feel like life is spiralling. And the solution is much deeper than creating boundaries, doing more things you like, and saying no more often. In fact, these emotional stop signs may be rendered completely unnecessary if we were to live in total alignment.
Some of you may be asking, in alignment to who? To what? Well, let’s dive in.

The blueprint of aligned living
More than just a self-help buzzword, alignment is a way of life. Your values form its foundation, its pillars are your inspiration, and the life you build will be decorated by the brilliance that manifests when embodying your beliefs.
What living in alignment feels like:
Greater confidence and clarity
Life feels intentional and purposeful
Little to no regrets or guilt
Signs you may be out of alignment:
Resentment
Feeling out of control of your life
A lack of fulfilment or purpose
Alignment makes life easier, but defining alignment isn’t easy. It requires well-defined belief and value systems that you are nearly unwavering with. And like a radio, you tune yourself each day toward those systems.
Just as you wouldn’t tune a radio to the classical music station expecting to hear rock-n-roll, when you are tuned to your highest alignment, life responds in ways that feel aligned. External matters won’t overcome you because you’ve consciously decided who you are and how you’ll respond.
The key is staying dialled into the energetic “station” you’ve chosen. Using your intuition and deepest values, living in alignment feels like using a compass. It doesn’t matter where you are. You’ll always know how to head north.
“Those moments in your life when you feel absolute exhilaration are moments of complete alignment with the Source within you.”
— Esther Hicks

Align with what is best for you
Alignment isn’t one-size-fits-all. The game you get to play is finding that higher purpose and the conviction it leads to. We all have access to these avenues for alignment, but you may find you prioritize one source of alignment over others.
Physical Alignment: Much like intuition, physical alignment is a relationship with the body that allows you to generate clarity based on sensations and “gut feelings”.
Purpose Alignment: Aligning with your calling in life, purpose alignment filters decisions through how it impacts the work you intend to do in this lifetime.
Mental Congruency: Leaning into reason and logic helps you align with what you understand as true and factual.
Morality Alignments: These attitude and ethics assessments aren’t often intentional but can provide insight into where you fall in your alignment tendencies from "Lawful Good” to “Chaotic Evil.” Explore Morality Alignments here.
“Forget about willpower. It's time for why-power. Your choices are only meaningful when you connect them to your desires and dreams. The wisest and most motivating choices are the ones aligned with that which you identify as your purpose, your core self, and your highest values. You've got to want something and know why you want it, or you'll end up giving up too easily.”
— Darren Hardy
Spiritual Alignment is a totality of all of these with the additions of beliefs and intentionally living in service of love and raising the collective consciousness. While what is deemed “good” may be subjective, love is not. Living in alignment with unconditional love encompasses belief systems, behaviours, attitudes, ethics, life purpose, and decision-making.
We fall out of alignment when we ignore the effort it takes to stay in alignment. The ego and the higher self will flood your mind with dozens of conflicting answers about what to do or say at any given moment, and as the saying goes, the wolf you feed more grows stronger. Thus, the decisions you make always align with something; it's up to you to define and decipher what that is.
