Love Is Truth
And truth isn't always easy
Love is an amplifier—a magnifying glass. Rather than conjuring something from thin air, it heightens what already exists. It lays bare all that yields to it.
Not like a tyrant emotion but like a mirror. Unyielding to rose-coloured glasses, real love witnesses all that is, as it is. And sometimes, that’s uncomfortable.
Sometimes, we won’t like what we see through the lens of love. And for it to be unconditional, it must be wholly honest.
Much like a couple walking the fringes of a toxic relationship, hoping for a newborn baby to restore their connection. Babies are the epitome of life—a new beginning, pure, unadulterated sweet love. And yet, caring for, nurturing, and raising a child cannot fix a couple by itself. But it will most certainly bring to light every crack in communication, understanding, patience, and tendencies that fracture the connection.
