I remember younger times when I went to everything I was invited to, even some things I wasn't. With little concern for the vibe, the intention, or other guests, it was easy to dish out my energy and dive into the unknown because even if these people or events weren't wise for my mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being—nothing was worse than missing out.

Dishing out your most valuable resources (time, energy, intentions) costs you in ways that are seen and unseen.

What might simply feel like an exhausting night that you wasted or could have spent doing things that fill your cup, can turn into a lifetime of not recognizing your needs, diminishing the value of your time, and lacking discernment for who you give your energy to. And I can promise you, FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is a much cheaper price to pay when it means upping your discernment.
