No, AI is not out to destroy your relationship, and this isn’t about spending too much time on social media.
I want to have what I consider a far more critical conversation about the future of technology and how it’s slowly and stealthily made its way into our homes, hoping to enhance and advance our lives, only to deteriorate our capacity for meaningful connection.
It seems the closer to our devices we get, the lonelier we become. And of all the possible threats one may fear about tech, mine is that we forget how to love.
And it’s not all that far-fetched, either. Today, I’ll share a few signs that the small devices in your home and in your hand could be distracting you from the fundamental human need for companionship and closeness.
